Buying frozen veggies is always cheaper than buying them fresh and buy fruits and veggies when they're in season

We stock up when it's on sale as well, and freeze it. Aldi usually has stuff on sale often, and has good quality items

Stock up on meat when it is on sale and freeze it to use when needed. Buying fruits and veggies that are in season will be cheaper!

We save by grinding our own hamburger. Its a lot cheaper and better quality. You can buy more chicken instead of beef. You can save on fish by stocking up when its on sale or eating a lower quality fish. Rock fish is a good alternative.

I check to see what meat is on special and get large sized packages that are less expensive them package them into serving sizes. I have a garden but you can buy large quantities of squash, peppers a, beans, eggplant and they are easy to freeze too late the winter.
